Ammonia vs Hydrogen
Unlikehydrogen, which demands extreme operational pressures (350–700 bar), high costs per kilogram, and significant infrastructure upgrades, ammonia emerges as a practical, scalable zero-emission alternative. It also has a comparable energy content to Jet-A1 fuels and is easily transported and stored.
Ammonia vs. SAF
While SAF represents a significant step towards decarbonisation, its production relies heavily on limited bio-feedstocks and energy-intensive processes, leading to substantially higher costs. Furthermore, SAF cannot completely achieve net-zero emissions due to the carbon dioxide generated during its life cycle.
